Finding our purpose in life

"To have faith in the Lord, our creator, we also must have faith in ourselves."

There is a famous quotation by Albert Einstein that says: " God never throws dice". That means when we were created and placed in the world , God had a clear purpose in His mind , and that we were not an accident. God gave us complete control over what we want to be. When we started our journey called life, we become completely lost and wander for the pleasures of this world, and somewhere in the middle of the journey we find our creator and try to connect with Him. Then we start to search, why we were created and planted in this world. Most believers try hard to find the true meaning and purpose of their lives. All I want to tell you is that we do have a common goal which is to help ourselves, and then help others around the world. We are all placed in different situations. Some are in stronger positions and others are not. It's our responsibility to help and to lead those who are less privileged because all of us have the equal right to have a good life in this world without any discrimination. We shall also have a sense of responsibility towards the nature. When we destroy God's creations(nature), it's like we are cutting the same branch that we are sitting on, and we are also taking and polluting the resources of our future generations because of our selfish desires. I wish all of us could look carefully into the life we are leading, cultivating good attitudes and habits which could help us make the difference. We all can work together, hand in hand, to make the world a perfect place, not only for ourselves, but also for our future generations.

FAITH LIKE DAVID

David was known as one of the most loyal servants of our king.When I read 2 Samuel chapter 6 ,couple of days before,a portion in that chapter really moved me.
David and his men carried the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahi'o, the sons of Abin'adab, were driving the new cart with the ark of God; and Ahi'o went before the ark.And David and all the house of Israel were making merry before the LORD with all their might, with songs and lyres and harps and tambourines and castanets and cymbals.Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled.And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there because he put forth his hand to the ark; and he died there beside the ark of God.when D avid saw this ,he became afraid and due to which he was not ready to take the ark of god to his city. David took it aside to the house of O'bed-e'dom the Gittite.And the ark of the LORD remained in the house of O'bed-e'dom the Gittite three months; and the LORD blessed O'bed-e'dom and all his household.when David found that the lord had blessed O'bed-e'dom ,he brought up the ark of God from the house of O'bed-e'dom to the city of David with rejoicing;and when those who bore the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatling.And David danced before the LORD with all his might.As the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window, and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.she said to David "How the king of Israel honored himself today, uncovering himself today before the eyes of his servants' maids, as one of the vulgar fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!".And David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me as prince over Israel, the people of the LORD--and I will make merry before the LORD.I will make myself yet more contemptible than this, and I will be abased in your eyes.
David's answer to Michal is something that will challenge both me and you.When we stand for Jesus ,people are bound to despise us,but when we rise to the faith like David had,we wont be seeing anyone but Jesus because he is worthy of all praises.

Our enemy has already dugged a pit for us;its not that he is digging a pit for us.As humans we are bound to fall in that pit,but when we move by the grace of god in our life,god places a spring inside the pit that Satan has dugged for us,so that when we fall ,we would automatically come out.The spring here represents the spirit of god.so i believe when we face a crisis in our life ,we should have the faith like David ,because we have the holy spirit to bring us out from any problem!!:)

Do we have the rights to judge others?

When we commit sin or get into trouble, then we pray to god to forgive us, but when it comes to forgiving others, I think we are not kind enough. How can we ask for forgiveness when we can’t forgive others? I think it’s because of our own selfishness, the very human nature that keeps us from doing so. The scripture says that we can not please god by satisfying our human nature (Romans 8:8). We always try to hide our sins and go after the very small mistakes in others. Bible says that god will use the same rule that we apply to judge others (Mathew 7:2) and we also try to pick the speck in our brothers eye and ignores the logs in our own eye (Mathew 7:3).

I want to tell you an incident from the bible, how Jesus responded when he saw people judging a woman. One day some scribes and Pharisees brought him a woman who was caught in adultery and they told Jesus that she should be judged or stoned according to the Law of Moses. They wanted to find a mistake in Jesus so that they can accuse him. Then Jesus bent down and wrote something in the ground as if he was not listening to the Pharisees, they continued to ask the same thing or tried to provoke him to judge the woman. Then he raised himself and said to them “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” Jesus made them to think about it deeply and all left the place one by one (silently). (John 8).

I know this story is very familiar to all of us and we might be hearing this same old yet new stuff every day, but still we judge others and people judge us. I want all of us to think about it one more time. So that next time at least we can be proud of ourselves that we tried not to judge anyone in order to keep us safe from lords judgment against us .Let him do the duty of judging and we are no one to take his place.

Angel of God

Most people dream of money, power and fame for there life. To live in the biggest home, drive the fastest cars. There only desire in life is to have things that rust and fade and can be lost. Trying to find and own a world full of material things such as gold and silver. My mind cant see what is there reason for those desires. As for me my own desire and dream is beyond a world of gold, silver, fast cars,
big homes but a desire for something beyond this world. I have a spiritual desire to be a true angel of God. To have him call me home to hear him say, my child my desire for you is the same desire you have for yourself, to be my working angel on earth. To send your time in the world taking the pain, hurt, loneliness and grief away. To heal there souls of those who are needing a simple touch of an angel.. This is my desire....
As he returns me on earth in my new human form as a living angel for his work, he places me in a room with a sick child and i sit beside her bed and whisper in her ear I am an angel of god. Then I hear a beautiful giggle as she smiles looking at me. A ray of happiness and joy shows upon her face as it takes the place of pain and darkness that filled her life for so long. Then I can take her hand
feeling the power of Jesus, heal her not only in body but in mind and soul. Then moving away from her to leave the room for my job is done which he has sent me to do there. I hear small giggles of a child who has her life back saying to her mommy that an angel of the Lord was here with me.Then she explains the wonderful works of Jesus and how an angel came to and sat beside her to tell her how much the Lord loves her and how he has the same love for all upon earth....

As I walk around the world and see another soul suffering from drug addition. Going and sitting beside him ,taking his hand in mine and telling him three words "Jesus loves you". Feeling again the love of Jesus come though my hand into his,I See the tears forming in his eyes as he begins to cry remembering all the love he had for the Lord so long ago but got pulled away from it all by the world around him.
These are not just tears he is crying ,it is the pain being removed from his soul ,the cleaning of all the darkness and loneliness he has felt for so long. It is all being replaced by the love of Jesus ,the forgiveness he has for his sins is being felt by him. He is seeing the blood that was spilled for him and the grace that is offered to him. Now he travels the city spreading the love of Jesus to all.Showing them that they don't have to drown themselves in a world of darkness but can have a life full of light, love and beauty...
Then the spirit of god drives me to a grieving mother who has just lost her child. I sit beside her and take her hand in mine, giving her the peace of the Lord's love. As he calms her grief saying to her with a simple touch from his own angel. "My child, your child is safe with me.I just needed him back with me for he had done the work on earth I had sent him to do which was to show my glory unto
you. For how you love him is is just a drop of one tear for the love i have for you". Jesus tells her, "as you took care of him, I am also taking care of you, he holds his arms open to her, brings her to his unchanging love to keep her safe, taking away her pain as well as her sorrow.The lord reminds her the story of Lazarus who also had the similar situation in his life . Now she wipes her tears,her grief is turned into happiness keeping this belief in her mind that the same home her son is living at awaits her. The mother turns and smiles and takes hold of another hand who is filled with grief sending the message of love and comfort through her touch. . She then goes and shares her touch of comfort with others as they grieve the lost of loved ones making the short time away from them seemed like just a day away...

As he sends me on my way, he puts me in a church sits me by a young girl who is felling alone in a world full of people. As I sit beside her,the preacher begins to preach she feels the need to leave. I take her hand telling her you are not alone "Jesus loves you". For who do you know can love you more than him, as he gave his life for you, no other friend on earth can say they have done the same for you. She sits wanting to have the courage to stand to make her way to the altar to give her life to him. She feels the love of him flow into her soul as she makes her way to the front of the church, kneels in front of Jesus as she prays for forgiveness giving her life over to him.Tears fall from her eyes you see the loneliness leave, you see her embrace her new life with Jesus.Light shining all around her seeing his arms cradle her with his never ending love pulling his daughter into her christian family. She feels alive for the first time in her life,feels full of love as she starts her new life by telling all around her the greatest love of her life is the love she found in Jesus. She opens the same church doors ,sees a scared girl in back as she sits beside her and begins to tell her about the day of the angel and the Lord coming into her life, she now is leading another lost sheep to Jesus as she was lead....
All I know is I don't want riches of this world but i want riches of a world far from here. I want to be an angel for the Lord to walk, stand, sit or kneel beside people all over the world show them the Love and glory of Jesus. Feeling his amazing power to help heal the broken souls, the grief of a mother for the loss of her child, the darkness of a drug addict, to show the ones who feel alone your not. I
want to be more than just a voice i want to be a servant of the greatest master Jesus..I want to be one of his own angels.

DAVID AND THE AMALEKITES

I read 1 samuel chapter 30 yesterday.It says about hw god gave victory to david against the amalekites
David and his 600 men went to war against the Amalekites ,200 men got tired when they reached the brook of Besor(1 samuel chapter 30 verse 9) and they stayed back.god gave victory to David and his 400 men over the Amalekites.David rescued everyone and everything the Amalekites had taken.Then David went back to the 200 men who had been too weak to go with him.In verse 22 it says "Then all the wicked and base fellows among the men who had gone with David said, "Because they did not go with us, we will not give them any of the spoil which we have recovered, except that each man may lead away his wife and children, and depart." But David said, "You shall not do so, my brothers, with what the LORD has given us; he has preserved us and given into our hand the band that came against us. Who would listen to you in this matter? For as his share is who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage; they shall share alike."
This is one portion which really moved my thoughts.Comparing this to the present generation,Many of us try to judge others not knowing that they might be having the supplies for our battle against sin :)!!!!!!!
